In This Seasson

Hello Readers!!!
So if you all don't know the I have been working on her thesis and feeling like I am getting no where! But I read the Arise5 (the prophetic journal based on the Hebrew calendar.. check it out at: www.arise5.com)  and I am getting my strength back. But I want to encourage you like I was encourage. We are in the month of Tammuz which is one that is filled with great things and I am so excited to see them manifest. There where six things that really stuck out that we must be aware of and make part of our lives. 1. This is the season where GOD is going to show you areas in your life that you need to adjust in order to remain in his will and stay on the path that he has called you to. 2. Light. This is the season where your light will need to shine bright and this will happen by accepting and taking on the glory of GOD. This is done by being in his presence through prayer and worship. Ask GOD to take your worship to another level that His glory will be just as real to other as it is to you. 3. Delay (this one is for me) This is the month to celebrate the delays in your life, and know that they are the confirmations of GOD's preparation for your victory and promotion. 4. Choice. In this seasoning choosing to accept the positive in negative situations is crucial. You must speak the word in faith this season when it comes to negativity. Celebrate the positive in your life. I hope she doesn't mind but I love the fact that friend  was able to celebrate the healing of her son's heart but not only that, when he had to be place back on oxygen for a while she stayed positive by say "it's just for a moment". That's how we must response to negativity "IT'S JUST FOR A MOMENT," and if we declare the word of the LORD it will be just for a second. 5. Vulnerable... OOOOOOO I know some of us have a hard time with this word but this is necessary in this season. We can't be super heroes in handling those moments that seem overwhelming in our own strength, it's time that you tap into ... Say it with me Circle of Influence which brings me to my last point....6. Relationships. It's time to look at your circle to make sure it's still healthy, productive, functioning, and balance. I know it's heart and hard to prune and add to our circle but in this season it is necessary. Make sure your circle doesn't get stale and that you are open to new relationships.
Prayer: Daddy we thank you that we are in a season where life, light, delay, choices, vulnerability, and relationships are key essentials to how we function in this season. WE thank you that we have life in you, and you give us life more abundantly as we stay on the path that you called us to. Help us with every assignment that we encounter daily, that you may get the glory in our actions. Helps us seek your face always that your presence will become and remain real to us and your glory may be the light that the world sees in us. Daddy help us accept, rejoice, and understand your delay is not a denial only a setup for your blessings. Help us Daddy to make the right choice in this season. That we speak your word during negative situations and stand on the promise of your positive outcome. Daddy help us become vulnerable in our times of needs that we seek out help when we need it the most as well as accept the help of others. Help us Daddy to not only be givers but receivers. Some of us are quick to give and slow to receive, help us find balance in both areas. Last Daddy gives us the strength and the heart to let go of the relationships that don't grow us, that paralyze us in hurt, disappointment, unforgiveness, and discouragement. Help us make room for new relationships and give us the wisdom in who to let in and out of our lives. Help us not to see the pruning process as a place of pain , but one of growth and healing. In Jesus Name. Amen!

The Mask

It's been a while since I blogged but promise I have really been in a position where I needed to but didn't have the time to. Today's blog is one of true transparency. I have really been wrestling with the thought of  writing this blog.. I means it's not serious but it is very transparent when it comes to being in a position of growth. So here goes nothing. For past hummmmm... Maybe two months I have been a position where I really wanted a move of GOD in my life. I mean a move that would not only change my life but spill over into the lives of the people that are connected to me. In sum I wanted this kingdom move. Well it happen I mean really happen. I realize it had happen when I thought about how excited I was about graduating for the third time with my third degree (no I am not finish I need my doctoral degree...LOL). I was wondering why was I so happy about graduating again... Like overly excited. I was asking the Holy Spirit to reveal it to me and then it happen. The last time I was graduating I was in the mist of a separation with my husband which would end in divorce. I called him crying telling him it would mean the world to me for him to be at my graduation. I remember the conversation and how I found myself begging this man who I was still married to, to come to the most important day in my life at that moment but his attitude towards me was horrible. I also remember after leaving dinner with my family and him and how he cussed me out from Anniston, AL to Birmingham, AL in front of her (almost a hour and a half straight) ... I just remember that graduation being the worst, but I also remember the prayer I prayed. "Daddy if you just give me a second change that's all I ask. I want to know what joy is again." Those words rung in me ear and heart even after my divorce until I just let it go. Now fast forward three years later and degree number three and that prayer is coming true. Sidebar: Daddy will allow you to pray for a thing and just when you think he has forgotten about it, he shows up and out. Lesson: Prayer works just not in your timing and it will not come in the packaging you expect. Back to the regular scheduled blog.... So needless to say I got my second chance to enjoy the moment that I work so hard for, but not only that I realize how much Daddy loves us. I mean we are always saying he is a GOD of a second chance, we read where he gives second chances, but to experience the second chance is just amazing. But this is not the purpose of this blog just the foundation. The purpose of this blog is the aftermath of the second chance. I really have been seeking and asking Daddy to use me to show himself strong in my life. That He be the father, the provider, and the I AM that is talked about in the Bible. And he has forever one that I have prayed for. Here is my mask. I am happy that everyone I have prayed, poured into, and spoke purpose in. They have  received all that they need and more, but in the back of my head with my mask on I  am asking Daddy when do I get what I have been praying for. When do I get the overflow? When will it hit my house? When will he come? When can I leave and get the promotion? I am sure I am not by myself and if I am well I will just be. I wear this mask where I am super excited about the blessings of GOD on others not thinking DADDY WHEN. I smile when inside I am crying.... Asking DADDY what do I have to do to get it!!! Then I get tired of wearing my mask and I shut down and I have to have my selfish moment... Yeah it's a process for me. Then I have to stop ignoring the Holy Spirit and conforming to the enemy's mindset and take a bite out of the tree of life and say to myself... GIRL it is coming just keep praying for others and watch the blessing flow. But can I be real transparent that's hard when they are getting the thing that you prayed for, for yourself... i.e. the husband, the promotion, the move, the increase, the favor,,,, I can go on and on.... But the situation get's better when you realize how your ability to be selfless will paralyze your ability to selfish. The mask of asking When ME Daddy can overtake you if you do not place yourself in a position to really see what the father is trying to do through you to get you to your WHEN ME DADDY moment.

Prayer: Daddy help us to be so transparent with you that we never need to put on a mask in order to deal with growth, change, and praying for others. Help us to realize that your timing for our life is so perfect that we won't even have time to focus on the "WHEN ME DADDY" moments. Daddy help us to release these moments through faith, joy,and trust that you have not forgotten about us. Daddy secure us in your yes and Amen and let us not forget the personal promises you have spoken to us. In Jesus Name! Amen

Give Thanks

16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus  (1Thess 5:16-18). It's amazing how we go through everyday life wanting nothing but happiness in a world that glamorized death, destruction, and disappointment. But Daddy tells us in his word that no matter what issues the world presents that we should always be happy, never leaving our prayer post, and most importantly being thankful no matter what the circumstances. Now the last part of this scripture is hard for me. Because there are times in my life where I am looking for the strength to say thank you beyond the gratitude of life and breathe. I know what you are saying... "That is good in itself, and it is, but Daddy's word says be THANKFUL in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.... Whew!!! That's deep that means even if you are in the hospital with tubes all in your body to the point you can't talk or breathe on your own without the assistance of machines, but you are aware of your surrounds, be thankful. Even if you are in the mist of a divorce and your house is tore up from the floor up and you feel like you are about to loose your mind.. Be THANKFUL! If you just lost a love one, or your heart has been broken, or you just in a place that don't know you are of value any more.... Guess what Be Thankful! Now Daddy is so awesome that he will take our thanksgiving and turns it into his glory, which will produce his promises, and manifest our blessings. Just one of his many formulas for us to live by. So here's  how the formula of Thanksgiving goes: Joy+ Never Stop praying+Thanksgiving in ALL things  and circumstances =GOD's glory which translates to your peace, your blessings, your answers, your healing, your forgiveness, and so forth. Seems pretty simple to me ! It's hard to give thanks when your flesh is the loudest voice you hear in the mist of "the circumstance," but when you are reminded of Daddy's track record in your life I am assured that a heart of gratitude can silent your flesh.

Prayer: Daddy this world reflects only on the things that say you are not real or the issues of destructions, depression, and disappointment, but as your children we will not meditate on what the world shows but what you have  and are telling us, and that's to have a heart of thanksgiving. Today daddy we lay down everything at your feet. We lay down the circumstances that say that giving you thanks will not change anything, we lay down the things that keep us from our joy in you, telling us that it's not worth praying about, and we say Daddy thank you! Thank you for breathe in our body, for the ability to know you as our Daddy and not just our GOD, for you drawing near to us as we draw near to you. Daddy thank you for being beyond what we need into what we couldn't even think of. We thank you in all circumstances, not yielding to our flesh, but the guidance, voice, and heart of you through your Holy Spirit.  We thank you for the formula of thanksgiving that you have given us and we will use it to remind us that telling you thank you will only yield greatness for and in our lives. In JESUS Name! AMEN

All I Need

2Corinthians 12:9 But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me. To me this is a powerful scripture. If I could sum it up in my own words I will simply stay "ALL I NEED." In this scripture Paul speaking to the church of Corinth to give them encouragement as he encourages himself. He reminds him, them, and us that Daddy's grace is all need though we may be in our weakness, Daddy's strength becomes stronger in that moment. Isn't it like Daddy to take what we have label weak, insufficient, lack, unequipped, and dysfunctional and turn it to a place of blessings and favor? Daddy allows himself to be our incompleteness so that we my be complete in him. He tells us that  HIS GRACE IS ALL WE NEED! So we are searching for a need when we have everything we need in is grace and to know that his grace is renewed daily with is makes it even better.

Prayer: Daddy right now thank you for being all that we need. Thank you for being our weakness that we may be strong. Thank you for giving us your grace that is renewed daily. Daddy we know that our weaknesses are just opportunities for you to come in and draw near to us, and for this we say thank you. With a heart of gratitude we say thank you for your every moment that we fall short. Though we pursue to be in a place of true completeness we know we can't obtain it in ourselves, that you alone can make us complete. You are the only one that can take or lack and make it an overflow, our unequipped to equipped, our dysfunction to order, and our inabilities and make us able. Today we declare that you are ALL WE NEED. In JESUS Name!

Don't Move

Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
David is amazing to me. The psalms that I read still speak to me today as they did for David when he was in a cave with the people plotting, complaining, and judging him for his obedience. It's just like us to wonder if we did right based on how people respond? But in the scripture GOD tells David, to be still and know that he is GOD. How many times have we wanted to move because of GOD's stillness?   Well today as we pray remember this GOD's timing is never setup like ours.  When we think he is late and has forgotten about us, we find out he was on time and always thinking about us. Don't move because you feel like that's what you should be doing, stay still and allow Daddy to do what he does best, perfect the situation for this glory.

Prayer: Daddy thank you always reminding us that even in your stillness you are still moving and that our movement can't equate to what you are doing. Daddy today we ask you that you help us be still help us to have a mindset of "don't move" when you called us to be still in you. It's so hard to be still when things seem to be so overwhelming, and when moving is the only way that we can get away from it. Daddy teach us that stillness in you equals your glory and the exaltation of your name.  That to be still is to trust you with all things even if we think we have a great solution for them. We thank you that in all things you get the glory and in our stillness we gain wisdom to move in the test with grace, to be overwhelm with your mercy and favor. Daddy will don't move and will not move until you tell us to. We yield to your stillness know that whatever is going to happen the outcome is we have the victory. In Jesus Name. AMEN

I'll Go To The Well

In John 4:1-41 Jesus gives a woman a life changing encounter with him. He meets the woman at the well. Now this woman is not a woman that Jesus should be associated with or even talking to, but he places himself in a position to ministry to those that seem unprivileged. In his conversation he talks to her about the topic of water... (And he should since he is at a well right?) Well this well is not an ordinary well, it's the well of his ancestors. As Jesus continues to have this conversation, He then begins to reveal her to herself, as well as him to her. Isn't it awesome when Daddy says to you, "come know me and let me tell you about you the good, bad, and ugly?" I think so, for him to take time out "his what we think busy schedule," to have intimate moments with us is great to me. But going back to the woman at the well. After general conversation Jesus offers the woman water. I love it when Daddy offers us something that we think we have. I mean think about it the woman was already at the well prepared to retrieve water to drink, and here comes Jesus unprepared, asking for water, yet offering it at the same time. The woman at the well sees the unprepared Jesus and ask the one question (I think we all would ask if we were her)  "how can you ask for something when you are not prepared to receive it?" Hum that's a lesson for us all... There are times we are asking Daddy for things when we are not prepared to even receive or even wise enough to handle. Let's continue...Jesus gives a reply for his unpreparedness by saying that the water he has to offer doesn't amount to what the woman came to retrieve. Daddy is always on top of his game he comes prepared even when it seem with the physical eye he looks unprepared. Jesus offers the woman him, and a relationship with  and the father by saying,“All those who drink this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring which will provide him with life-giving water and give him eternal life.” What a powerful way to let a person know that what they have truly been desiring is found in Daddy. I mean to know that this woman came to this well probably throughout her lifetime with her bucket, knowing the value of this water, and the water she really needs is found in waiting of a promise that she knows about. If you look through the scripture will see how she talk about the Messiah and Jesus says to her " I am he who you are talking about." In other words I am the Messiah in flesh, at the well waiting on you to receive me." WOW!!! I would defiantly go that well...  Wouldn't you? A well that would meet all my needs and even the needs that I knew not off and the manifestation of a promise that I only heard about. I doubt that the woman at the well knew she needed to be healed from the many husbands that she took on that weren't her's in the first place. I doubt that she even knew how thirsty her spirit was for the water that Jesus had to offer. And I seriously doubt that she knew that her everyday routine would yield the results of a life changing experience.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for the well, for we know that in you we will never thirst again. Thank you for the living water found through your son Jesus and the life of eternity that comes with it. Daddy so many times we find ourselves like the woman at the well, coming prepared to receive what we expect, and in return your will reveal areas that lack in our life that you are ready to heal and offer something so much greater than we expected.  Daddy we come to your well yearning for your water, waiting for your healing that we can share our testimony with others. We thank you Daddy that despite the issues of  our heart you are willing to offer your water to us. In Jesus Name. AMEN!
