On this past weekend after a girls roadtrip (which was suppose to be a day thing, that turned into a weekend) I got to experience something new that remind me of the story of the man whose friends place him in the center of healing in a house. So let me retell the story that can be found in Mark 2:4; Luke 5:19. So Jesus was in the town healing people and he was doing it in a house that fully packed with people that were seeking and getting healed. These friends of a paralyzed man decided that they need to bring their friend to this house so that JESUS could heal him. Well they couldn't get through the doors of the house due to the crowd, but they were desperate to get their friend healed. So with teamwork and careful planning they climb to the roof top of the house with their friend who was laying on a cot and beginning to tear the roof off the house. SIDEBAR: You need people in your life who are willing to think outside the box, and who are desperate to see you healed. Ok... Back to the story. So the friends created an opening big enough to lower the friend who was paralyzed and on the cot down to the center of the crowd and in front of JESUS. SIDEBAR: I don't know where they got the rope to attach to the cot to lower him down, but can I tell you, you always need friends that are prepared... So let's continue the story.... JESUS stop and said to the man... Because of the faith of your friends you are healed... Now it doesn't say anything about what happen to the friends, but in my Holy Ghost Imagination (that's what a former pastor of mine use to say) I know that JESUS healed his friends to... Why you say that, you ask? Because it was their selflessness, faith, perseverance, and reluctance love for their friend that they went to the extreme to get their friend healed. JESUS acknowledge that and in his acknowledge I feel he was speaking healing, prosperity, and blessings to them and their household. So with that being said let me go back to the story of my girls roadtrip. We were at a friends house, who told us that we needed to meet this young man who was a prophet. We were open and we had all been a place of needing something great to happen spiritually. So the young man came and begin to prophecy to us individually; afterwards, he begin to pray for two of the friends that came with me on the trip. Well why he prayed, I touch and agree and intercede for them as well. They in return got to experience the power of GOD's glory and healing with the evidence of the Holy Spirit. Now after every thing was over I beginning to experience the healing that I had been seeking Daddy for. Because of their experience I gain a blessing too. Just like the friends of the paralyzed man. Their faith manifested his healing, but they returned got blessed too. That's just like Daddy. He creates an opportunity for one person to get a direct experience of him, but in return others get to experience the effect of his glory too.
Prayer: Daddy thank you for the experience. The experience of your new grace and mercy daily. Your love and eternal peace. Your gift of life and the title to be your child, to be called son or daughter. Daddy we enjoy the experience of you period, never taking it for granted, never losing sight of its value in and over our life. Daddy thank you for the experience of your healing, your provision, and protection through the blood of JESUS. Thank you for the opportunity to always be able to come to you for ourselves and experience the weight of your glory. To dwell in the presence of you. We love you Daddy and we understand that an experience with you is greater than anything that this world could ever offer. In JESUS Name.... AMEN!
This blog is for those that need a reminder that their relationship with GOD should be personal and intimate. So many times we see GOD as this supernatural, all knowing, distant, but loving GOD. But that's not how He wants to be known to you. He wants to be known as Daddy in your life, and this blog is a reflection of that title. NOTE: That improper grammar is used in this blog along with misspelled words. This is due to the real and richness of the blogger's conversation with Daddy.
