Courtship

Yesterday I had the honor of sitting and talking with my friend Ms. Chloe M. Gooden  author and created of the Know Your Worth Rubie Movement and ministry. In our conversation we talk about any and everything but the thing we talk about the most was courtship. If you are single, married, engaged, or looking this blog is for you. I am not going to get deep at all but I wanted to share my heart, because as a woman that has went through all the cycle of a relationship (singleness, marriage, divorce, singleness again)  I realized that the next one I get involved in I want the honor and privilege for it be a courtship. You will know what courtship is when you read the book Song of Solomon. How the bride and groom had their arguments, ups and downs, but through it all they had the support, accountability, and love of family and friends to keep them straight until their wedding night. They had friends that protected their investment in each other, covering them in prayer through the process of courtship, loving them, encouraging them, and making sure they remain in their purpose and will of GOD.  This is courtship to me. The ability to be with one person that purse the father to get to me. The one who says I want to surround myself with people who see my heart of wanting a mate and giving me wisdom on how to pursue, keep, and maintain a healthy, GODly relationship with my mate. I love Proverbs 18:22 " A man that finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from GOD." That to me is the ultimate instruction for a man in the way that he should pursue his wife until he dies. Keep finding her I don't care if you been married 50 years there is something about her that has developed due to her marriage to you. If you are dating you truly have not arrived yet. There are things about her that you haven't tapped into that cause her to tick, grow, and even become motivated. If you are engaged that doesn't mean that your journey to finding her is over, it simple means that the journey has begun. Don't settle in what you know keep pursing her as though you met for the very first time again. Today I urge you to look  at how your enter, pursue, obtain, maintain, and even purpose relationships. Are you in a place were you dating a person or persons so that you can figure out what you want? Or are you in a place where you are dating, married, or engaged to one person and content where you all are in your relationship with each other that you don't care to get to know each other any more? Wherever you are can I tell you one thing... Courtship is the key to your happiness in GOD when it comes to your relationship on the level of loving with and on purpose. That he wants you to be active in courtship the art of his love in your relationship with detail instructions from his word.

Prayer: Daddy we thank you that even though the world has it's way in how we should pursue relationships and marriage, you have giving us great instructions in your word on what we your daughters and sons should do. Thank you Daddy that we shall be the favor that we should be and the helpmates that we are called to be to our husbands, and they should be the covering that they are called to be along with the priest you purpose them to be. Daddy I lift up every married couple. I plead the blood of Jesus over their marriage, remind them of your word that love is patience, love is kind, it never boost; that what you have joined together no man can tear apart and that means them as well. Daddy remind them that you are a great counselor in all situations and no matter what the issue you can handle it. Daddy remind the husband to find his wife in you for she is the key to his favor in you and remind the wives that their value can't be determine by prize possessions only the blessings that her husband and you speak over her along with her children. Daddy I pray for those engaged to be married. I thank you that they have accepted the call to the process of marriage, cultivate their hearts to receive the work that comes with the title of husband and wife. Help them to deal with arguments in the manner of peace and wisdom, not flesh, feelings, and unwise emotions. Help them to pray for each other daily collectively and individually. Help them to maintain their relationship with you and not getting caught in the details of the a day. Daddy most importantly keep them in a position were they love each other unconditionally.  Daddy I lift up the singles.. OOOOOOOO DADDY being single in a world where sex, sin, and fornication is the normal and expected in our single state is hard. Daddy keep our minds focused on you and your word. Help us to stand on the promise that we are called to your purpose and you have someone that is perfectly made for us. Help us remain patient in our wait and still in our season, waiting on your instructions. In JESUS name! AMEN

Have I settled in My More?

As I was reading my friend's Latoya Tolbert's blog on wordpress (got check it out: latoyatolbert.wordpress.com)  I got a revelation... I really do want more. As I reflect on all the events that happen in the US I am convince and convicted of three things. As Christian we have become wavier in our faith as a representative of Christ. We have lost the aspect of GOD's love towards the people of this world. As I hear the nation glorify the actions that are clearly against GOD's will my heart weeps. I want to be in a place not of judgement, but of love. I want my reaction towards their actions to be of love and I want this desperately for the kingdom as well. I want to see the miracles of GOD manifest right before my eyes, and not be shaken by the things that I can't control or even the weapons formed against me. I want the more. I want more of his presence, I want more of his love, more of his power, I want more of his word, wisdom, and understanding of my position as daughter. I want more. And can I declare there is more. There is more to GOD and today with a heart of vulnerability, I am convince I can't settle I can't compromise, and I can't allow anything to stop me from getting to the MORE. I want to encourage someone that feels like they don't know how to get to more, or even those that feel that they are at more, but feel like the more they obtain has left or they don't know how they achieve it... There is more and there is no need to settle without pursing the more. As I have grown in my intimate relationship with GOD I  realize that the more I experienced at 16 is not the more I am experiencing at 30 something. I realize that 16 I was getting to know my identity in GOD at 30 I know my identity I am just trying to tap into the power, privilege, purpose, and potential of my identity. So today know there is more and don't settle for the more you have keep asking for more and more and more.

Prayer: Daddy thank you that in you there is always more. More love, more power, more purpose, more protection, more provision, more wisdom, more of what we need and all that we need. Today we give you a more praise. Not for what you can and have done for us, but a more praise to tell you thank for the more. Thank you for the more we didn't even ask for, for the more grace, the more mercy, thank you for the more of your presence, your face, your time with us. Thank you for the more of our healing, the more of your restoring, the more of your rebuilding, the more of your reviving. Daddy today we give you more. More of us, more of our life, more of our time, more of our heart, more of our love, more of worship, and more of our praise. We thank you that today we declare we will never settle for any more levels of what we think more is to us. We will pursue more of you until you come back for us or we leave this earth. In JESUS name! AMEN!

Give Thanks

16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus  (1Thess 5:16-18). It's amazing how we go through everyday life wanting nothing but happiness in a world that glamorized death, destruction, and disappointment. But Daddy tells us in his word that no matter what issues the world presents that we should always be happy, never leaving our prayer post, and most importantly being thankful no matter what the circumstances. Now the last part of this scripture is hard for me. Because there are times in my life where I am looking for the strength to say thank you beyond the gratitude of life and breathe. I know what you are saying... "That is good in itself, and it is, but Daddy's word says be THANKFUL in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.... Whew!!! That's deep that means even if you are in the hospital with tubes all in your body to the point you can't talk or breathe on your own without the assistance of machines, but you are aware of your surrounds, be thankful. Even if you are in the mist of a divorce and your house is tore up from the floor up and you feel like you are about to loose your mind.. Be THANKFUL! If you just lost a love one, or your heart has been broken, or you just in a place that don't know you are of value any more.... Guess what Be Thankful! Now Daddy is so awesome that he will take our thanksgiving and turns it into his glory, which will produce his promises, and manifest our blessings. Just one of his many formulas for us to live by. So here's  how the formula of Thanksgiving goes: Joy+ Never Stop praying+Thanksgiving in ALL things  and circumstances =GOD's glory which translates to your peace, your blessings, your answers, your healing, your forgiveness, and so forth. Seems pretty simple to me ! It's hard to give thanks when your flesh is the loudest voice you hear in the mist of "the circumstance," but when you are reminded of Daddy's track record in your life I am assured that a heart of gratitude can silent your flesh.

Prayer: Daddy this world reflects only on the things that say you are not real or the issues of destructions, depression, and disappointment, but as your children we will not meditate on what the world shows but what you have  and are telling us, and that's to have a heart of thanksgiving. Today daddy we lay down everything at your feet. We lay down the circumstances that say that giving you thanks will not change anything, we lay down the things that keep us from our joy in you, telling us that it's not worth praying about, and we say Daddy thank you! Thank you for breathe in our body, for the ability to know you as our Daddy and not just our GOD, for you drawing near to us as we draw near to you. Daddy thank you for being beyond what we need into what we couldn't even think of. We thank you in all circumstances, not yielding to our flesh, but the guidance, voice, and heart of you through your Holy Spirit.  We thank you for the formula of thanksgiving that you have given us and we will use it to remind us that telling you thank you will only yield greatness for and in our lives. In JESUS Name! AMEN

The Conqueror

Romans 8:37 (ERV) But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us.

Daddy today I take the time to speak to you because this scripture spoke to me. I know lately I have tried and continue to try to drown myself in your word. To gather understanding to move beyond just reading it into putting it into action and it seems the more I try the less I conquer. The more I look at my  life the more I feel victory-less. The more I try to push forward the weight I feel pulling me back. Daddy what do I do? Where do I go? How do I become MORE Than A Conqueror?
Daughter ask yourself three questions: What holds you hostage? What has you in these chains when I called you free? What have you allowed to take away your GOD-given victory? I don't know Daddy fear, worry, stress, anxiety, disappointment, waiting, people... Daddy I don't know!! Well daughter I do. You have forgotten your authority. You forgot that you don't have to fight the battle just show up and call on me and I, your Daddy will show up and fight for you. I  have overcome the world just for you! I have you in my right hand. I am... I am and with that I have the authority to do whatever I want, whenever I want to do it, however I want to do it.  I have given you power to trample over the enemy and to call things that are not as though they were. Daughter how could you allow anything but me to effect how you live your life and dwell in your victory. Even during life changing moments that seem  to break you down, you are more than a Conqueror to think anything less would not be in my will. Daddy I really don't know what to say.. Say what I called you... More Than A Conqueror and stop worrying about tomorrow or even the events of today when I am the the supplier of all your needs. Ok Daddy I will speak what you called me to be and nothing more. Daughter that's all I asked and know that I love you more than you could ever know. Love you too Daddy.

All I Need

2Corinthians 12:9 But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me. To me this is a powerful scripture. If I could sum it up in my own words I will simply stay "ALL I NEED." In this scripture Paul speaking to the church of Corinth to give them encouragement as he encourages himself. He reminds him, them, and us that Daddy's grace is all need though we may be in our weakness, Daddy's strength becomes stronger in that moment. Isn't it like Daddy to take what we have label weak, insufficient, lack, unequipped, and dysfunctional and turn it to a place of blessings and favor? Daddy allows himself to be our incompleteness so that we my be complete in him. He tells us that  HIS GRACE IS ALL WE NEED! So we are searching for a need when we have everything we need in is grace and to know that his grace is renewed daily with is makes it even better.

Prayer: Daddy right now thank you for being all that we need. Thank you for being our weakness that we may be strong. Thank you for giving us your grace that is renewed daily. Daddy we know that our weaknesses are just opportunities for you to come in and draw near to us, and for this we say thank you. With a heart of gratitude we say thank you for your every moment that we fall short. Though we pursue to be in a place of true completeness we know we can't obtain it in ourselves, that you alone can make us complete. You are the only one that can take or lack and make it an overflow, our unequipped to equipped, our dysfunction to order, and our inabilities and make us able. Today we declare that you are ALL WE NEED. In JESUS Name!

I Will Take

You are my defender and protector; I put my hope in your promise. Psalms 119:114 (GNT)

What argument against you have you been trying to defend? What have you been protecting? So many times we find ourselves doing what GOD is suppose to do. We are defending the wrong things and creating arguments that aren't for us. We are trying to explain, compromise, simplify, and defend what GOD is doing in our lives when others question our actions and motives of obedience to Daddy, because it doesn't make sense to them. But can I give you a little wisdom and/or reminder? Daddy never needs our defense he can do that on his own. He is the creator of all things and he can handle his own weight as well as ours, so there is no need for us to defend ourselves in anything that Daddy has called us to do or be. The question is will you take his defense and protection or are you so mindful of your flesh  that you are willing to tell it yes that you will tell you spirit no? (Sidebar: that was deep to me) Will you say to Daddy, I can't be silent because I need to make sure "they understand!" Who are they? They have no power or place to put you in, that Daddy can't deliver you from. Stop trying to do Daddy's job, and start trying to put your hope on the promise that Daddy will even when we don't know how he will or where he will. 

Prayer: Daddy we realize that we have been arguing out of order. That we should never be in the position to argue on your behalf or even get to a place to argue about who you are to us. Today we  lay every argument of our heart at your feet. We take rest in your defense and protection and we place our hope in your promise. We know that there is nothing that we can do that outweighs the greatness found in, and for that we say THANK YOU. In Jesus Name. AMEN!!

Praying for the Body of Christ

I am sure you all have become aware of what happen last night in Charleston, SC at a church that was in the mist of prayer. Today with a heavy heart I seek to pray not just for this church and those affected by this event,  but the body of Christ. No longer can we sent in the corner observing the news, praying our simple prayers, we must take heed to the posture we should have as Children of GOD. So many times we see evidence of the return of Christ and this one is clearly one. When a person has the boldness to come in and sit for an hour in the mist of the word and prayer and not get convicted by their thought action or no one discern the enemy in the house of GOD we have to do something and quickly. It's time to get back on our post of prayer and cover the body of Christ and this nation in the blood of Jesus. We have to pray for wisdom and we have to get.  #emauelame #prayer

Prayer: Daddy we know that there is nothing that happen on this earth that you are not aware of and because of that we know that you are aware of the heavy hearts of those affected by this horrible event. Daddy allow those affected to find peace and comfort in you. Let help their hearts not to harden towards a race or person, but become soft to the need of your love and sharing your love. Daddy let our nation see this as a call to draw closer to you, and the body of Christ to surrender to the ear of your instructions on what to do. Daddy help us to go into prayer with hearts of intercession realizing that we need more than just answers, we need equipment to fight the enemy with wisdom and not just emotions. Daddy help the body to know it's time to unite and not fight. It's time that we stand up in your standards instead of blending in with the world. Daddy you said in your word: if your people who are called by your name shall humble themselves, repent, and turn from their evil ways you will hear them and heal their land. Daddy we aren't just asking you to hear us or heal us, we ask that you pour out your presence that we may bask in your glory and gain wisdom and insight on what posture we should have. Daddy we lift up every leader, minister, pastor, and family in the body of Christ. We lift up our nation's leaders as they decide on what to do so this will not happen again or help in the aiding on how to prevent this from happening again. Give them wisdom on the direction they should take from the investigation to the conviction of the crime. Daddy we bind up the spirit of hate and fear, In the name of Jesus. Daddy we ask for the release of your boldness, the power of your love, the peace that surpasses our understanding, the comfort that settles all arguments and thoughts of the enemy, and the assurance of knowing that you will provide victory. Daddy remind the body of Christ that we do not war against flesh and blood, but principalities of wickedness, evil spirits, and the plans and schemes of the enemy. Daddy equip us with instructions on what position we should have as we deal with this and may more attacks on the body of Christ. Daddy we are well aware this has nothing to do with race, but with your name. This has nothing to do with a person, but a spirit and plan of the enemy. Daddy we know that no matter what your glory will prevail. Daddy we thank you for your wisdom, we thank you for the blood of Jesus, but mostly we thank you that your word will not return to us void. In JESUS Name. AMEN

I Want to Change

Roman 12:2 (ERV) Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. 
I don't know about you, but when change is in my vocabulary I always seek to change based on the world standards than Daddy's standards. I know... I know as a Daughter of Daddy shouldn't I seek his standards first. Of course! When I change or measure my change based on the world standards they never last long. I mean think about about many New Resolutions  you made   or even think about the habits you wanted to change based upon world measurements...How long did they last? Yeah mines didn't last that long either, or they have last but with little slip ups here and there. But when I realize that the change I wanted  to make could not be successful based on the measurements  of the world that's when I got the revelation that change must come from Daddy. Daddy has to be our measurement of how we change and he even gives us a formula on how to change to his standards and not the worlds. The formula is "LET GOD." That seems simple I am sure, but is it truly? Let's examine the words "LET GOD" this simply means that we take our will and surrender it to GOD. Our bodies become willing vessels to the actions, thoughts, and obedience to Daddy's word. We transform from a selfish mindset to a selfless one. We surrender what is even in our control to the submission of GOD's control daily. So is it simple?!? YES! Is it easy?!? NO. Because Paul reminds that daily we will have a battle of flesh vs. spirit. Paul says"  that the things we shouldn't do we find ourselves doing, but the things that we should do we have a hard time doing. Then he says we have to die daily from our flesh and pick up the mantel of the spirit of GOD. The more I think about change based on the WORD alone it seems impossible. But nothing is impossible in Daddy and that's why he tells us in Romans to LET HIM. If we try to change based on our own ability we would be messed up. But because our Daddy is great and he is the creator of all things, he can cause change to happen in a matter of seconds. 

Prayer:  Daddy today we come to you yielding ourselves to your change. We know that change with our ability will cause destruction in our lives, but change in You causes success and victory. Daddy we surrender all. We surrender our life, that we may live for you and be use for  your glory. We surrender our hearts that we can love like you even when we are hurt by those that seem not to want or know how to love us back or know the right way to love us. We surrender our mouth, that our lips can only speak the life giving words of your word, only bring love, peace, joy, and encouragement to others. Daddy change us that we may be the city on the hill that  shining so others may see, know, and experience your glory. In Jesus Name. AMEN!!

The If Formula

Romans 8:13: What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? I read this same scripture in at least 10 different bible translations and they all read the same thing. From the KJV to the Message. So what should this say to us. Simple "Ain't No Need to Worry." Life decisions with the enemy's plans will cause consequences that we are not ready for, but IF GOD is for us, who can be against us.. Let's talk about that IF GOD. So many times in the Bible, we see IF GOD. IF we trust GOD, IF we hold on, IF we pray, IF we praise, IF we turn... then... Then Daddy will show himself strong and make us victorious. So many times we miss the formula of GOD and it is simply found in this verse and many more. IF... There are no BUT's in GOD only IF's which really reflect the free will that Daddy has given us to make our own decision with the consequences of his actions already in play. Let's reexamine Romans 8:13 using the IF Formula What then shall we say about these things?  (If you look back on Romans 8: 20-30 we know that these things are the promises of  GOD and the position and promises that come with being a Son/Daughter of Daddy.) IF GOD (if Daddy has allowed you the option to choose the decision on what action you will take or make in order to get to what he has already placed before you) is for us, who can be against us (Who can destroy, take away, talk about, mistreat  Your Daddy given victory?) so many times we miss Daddy's ifs thinking that we need to do more, but Daddy is simple he just wants your decision to be obedient to his word, will, and way and he will produce the things you didn't even know that you needed.

 Prayer: Daddy right now we stand on your IF. If you are for us, if we trust in you, if we hold on, you will do exceedingly, and abundantly over what we ask or think and because of that we will follow the if formula of you. Daddy today we make the decisions to be obedient and to yield to your will. We know that being in a position where you take control is not easy, that's why give us freewill, but today we surrender the free will you have given us for yours. We thank you that in we have promised that outlast the earth and in you we will reap the harvest of the seeds we did not sow, just because of your IF formula.  In Jesus Name. AMEN!

It's Not Me

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. (Proverbs3:5-6 AMP)

I am sure that Proverbs 3:5-6 is a familiar for some if not a lot. It's the verse I know that I get quoted to me when I vent about situations in my life to my spiritual mom or any of my friends that are Christians. It was always the verse that I would open when I was in a place of analyzing situations and decisions in my life. It was defiantly the verse that I read when I am asking GOD what are you doing. It's the verse that says to me "It's Not Me." It's not my place to come up with the instructions, the solutions, or even the power of the manifestation of how it should work in my favor. It's not me that should be doing the action in the sense of producing results or bring forth understanding of what I am doing.  But it is for me to lean, trust, and BE CONFIDENT in what Daddy is saying to me, told me, and telling me to do. It is for me to surrender my heart to the word and instructions of Daddy and allow him to give me understanding and insight. It is for me to recognize Daddy for who he is and what he is capable of doing and rest in that. It is for me to walk the path that he created before I was even thought of or born into this earth to walk in faith, knowing that the path is straight and if I should get off the path Daddy will make what I cause to be crooked to be straight again. It is for me to be the daughter and know that my Daddy only wants what is best for me.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for allowing us to know that our greatest confidence comes from us surrendering our hearts to you while letting go of our will and leaning and trusting on you. We know that so many times leaning on you may cause us to be in a place where we don't move or even understand your instructions and for those moments we yield not to our understanding or insight but yours alone knowing that you will make crooked paths straight with your directions. Daddy today we let go of all of us and take hold of all of you. Rest in the assurance that Daddy you know what's best for us and there is nothing greater than your best.  In Jesus Name Amen!

Don't Move

Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
David is amazing to me. The psalms that I read still speak to me today as they did for David when he was in a cave with the people plotting, complaining, and judging him for his obedience. It's just like us to wonder if we did right based on how people respond? But in the scripture GOD tells David, to be still and know that he is GOD. How many times have we wanted to move because of GOD's stillness?   Well today as we pray remember this GOD's timing is never setup like ours.  When we think he is late and has forgotten about us, we find out he was on time and always thinking about us. Don't move because you feel like that's what you should be doing, stay still and allow Daddy to do what he does best, perfect the situation for this glory. 


Prayer: Daddy thank you always reminding us that even in your stillness you are still moving and that our movement can't equate to what you are doing. Daddy today we ask you that you help us be still help us to have a mindset of "don't move" when you called us to be still in you. It's so hard to be still when things seem to be so overwhelming, and when moving is the only way that we can get away from it. Daddy teach us that stillness in you equals your glory and the exaltation of your name.  That to be still is to trust you with all things even if we think we have a great solution for them. We thank you that in all things you get the glory and in our stillness we gain wisdom to move in the test with grace, to be overwhelm with your mercy and favor. Daddy will don't move and will not move until you tell us to. We yield to your stillness know that whatever is going to happen the outcome is we have the victory. In Jesus Name. AMEN

I'll Go To The Well

In John 4:1-41 Jesus gives a woman a life changing encounter with him. He meets the woman at the well. Now this woman is not a woman that Jesus should be associated with or even talking to, but he places himself in a position to ministry to those that seem unprivileged. In his conversation he talks to her about the topic of water... (And he should since he is at a well right?) Well this well is not an ordinary well, it's the well of his ancestors. As Jesus continues to have this conversation, He then begins to reveal her to herself, as well as him to her. Isn't it awesome when Daddy says to you, "come know me and let me tell you about you the good, bad, and ugly?" I think so, for him to take time out "his what we think busy schedule," to have intimate moments with us is great to me. But going back to the woman at the well. After general conversation Jesus offers the woman water. I love it when Daddy offers us something that we think we have. I mean think about it the woman was already at the well prepared to retrieve water to drink, and here comes Jesus unprepared, asking for water, yet offering it at the same time. The woman at the well sees the unprepared Jesus and ask the one question (I think we all would ask if we were her)  "how can you ask for something when you are not prepared to receive it?" Hum that's a lesson for us all... There are times we are asking Daddy for things when we are not prepared to even receive or even wise enough to handle. Let's continue...Jesus gives a reply for his unpreparedness by saying that the water he has to offer doesn't amount to what the woman came to retrieve. Daddy is always on top of his game he comes prepared even when it seem with the physical eye he looks unprepared. Jesus offers the woman him, and a relationship with  and the father by saying,“All those who drink this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring which will provide him with life-giving water and give him eternal life.” What a powerful way to let a person know that what they have truly been desiring is found in Daddy. I mean to know that this woman came to this well probably throughout her lifetime with her bucket, knowing the value of this water, and the water she really needs is found in waiting of a promise that she knows about. If you look through the scripture will see how she talk about the Messiah and Jesus says to her " I am he who you are talking about." In other words I am the Messiah in flesh, at the well waiting on you to receive me." WOW!!! I would defiantly go that well...  Wouldn't you? A well that would meet all my needs and even the needs that I knew not off and the manifestation of a promise that I only heard about. I doubt that the woman at the well knew she needed to be healed from the many husbands that she took on that weren't her's in the first place. I doubt that she even knew how thirsty her spirit was for the water that Jesus had to offer. And I seriously doubt that she knew that her everyday routine would yield the results of a life changing experience.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for the well, for we know that in you we will never thirst again. Thank you for the living water found through your son Jesus and the life of eternity that comes with it. Daddy so many times we find ourselves like the woman at the well, coming prepared to receive what we expect, and in return your will reveal areas that lack in our life that you are ready to heal and offer something so much greater than we expected.  Daddy we come to your well yearning for your water, waiting for your healing that we can share our testimony with others. We thank you Daddy that despite the issues of  our heart you are willing to offer your water to us. In Jesus Name. AMEN!

Ain't No Need To Worry


Why do we allow worry to be the ruler of our life? What about worry says that our Daddy can't do it? If you look at Matthew 25-33 Jesus, is speaking telling the people that worry produces nothing productive. That in our worry we devalue ourselves and forget the authority, benefits, and privileges we have as Daddy's children. But In Matthew 6:33-34 he tells us how to battle worry and what our focus should be on. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (NIV). But even in his instructions we find ourselves still in the worry state. We feel as though if we don't do, it won't get done. If we don't worry that means that we don't care. Well can I tell you that this kind of mindset still doesn't work. No matter how we justify worry, worry should not be in our vocabulary. It should be the least of our thoughts. In Philippians 4:6-9 Paul reminds us what to do with our worry.. well in this case our anxiety (Sidebar: do you know that your continuous worrying can turn into anxiety, causing fear to build up in your heart, hindering the move of GOD and opening the door for the enemy?)>>>(Continue) Paul says:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.  
Paul clearly gives step-by-step detail directions on how to battle worry. 
Step1: Don't be Anxious. This simply means remind yourself who you are and who's you are. (In other words breath). 
Step2: Call it a situation and not a permanent position. So many times we allow our worry and/or anxiety to become who we are and the reflection on how we live and respond to life, But we can't do that as children of Daddy. 
 Step3: Talk to Daddy about the worry and anxiety. 
Step4: Tell Daddy thank you even though you don't see it working yet.
Step 5 Put on your garment of praise.  
Step6: Let Daddy handle it in his time and in his way.
Step7: Stay still and allow Jehovah Shalom to take his place in the situation.
Step8: Stop thinking, Your way of thinking doesn't match Daddy's way of thinking stop trying to comprehend how, where, when, and what is going to be done with your worry and anxiety.
Step9: Change your mindset. When you find yourself in a worry state or having anxiety start meditating on the goodness of our Daddy. Remind yourself that even in this uncontrollable situation  Daddy still gets the praise.
Step10: Start seeking the kingdom of GOD and all his righteousness (Matthew 6:33)
Step11: Put the word into practice that it may take action
Step12: Accept the peace of GOD and stay in his presence

Prayer: Daddy we come to you now laying worry and anxiety at your feet. We know that there are things that we have on our mind so heavy that they even wake us up out our sleep or cause us to be sleepless. We toss and turn trying to figure out a solution on  what to do even  though it's not our problem in the first place. But today day we stop worrying about us and start focusing on you. Yielding our thoughts and even the day to you that you may get the glory. Daddy we seek your kingdom agenda and we ask you to give us instructions on how to accomplish what we are called to do on today and every day, day by day. In Jesus Name. AMEN!

Blown Fear

This pass weekend I attended a Women's Conference at Solid Rock Christian Center International in Huntsville, AL (Great thanks to Apostle Phyllis and her leaders) but while I was there a speaker shared her testimony. It was truly powerful but in her wrapping up she passed out balloons. She explain that the balloon represents your faith. At the time that she gave us balloons that were not inflated. She gave us instructions to blow up the balloon until it burst. If you know any thing about a balloon busting on  while you are blowing it, it can hurt if it burst in your face. So as the speaker continued to encourage us I started to blow up my balloon. As I looked around I saw people's balloons getting bigger and bigger. My sister who was standing next to me, had a huge balloon. I looked at her balloon and then I looked at mine, thinking to myself, we must not have the same balloon because mines is not getting that big, but as I looked at others blow their balloons, theirs look similar to my sisters than mine. (Side bar: isn't like us to look at others faith and compare it to ours, and give the excuse that they must not have the same thing that we do?)... Continue... SO as I looked at my balloon holding it while hearing the bursting of balloons around I started to think.... Daddy I can't do this... If this balloon burst in my face it's going to hurt or I am swallow the rubber or something is going to be uncomfortable. I was in a place of trepidation, holding my faith in my hand. My balloon was smaller than my sisters and others around me. I stood there saying Daddy it's going to hurt, Daddy it's going to hurt. While saying this the speaker said to the audience, if you burst your balloon you will blow your fear and  expand your faith. As I heard that I begin to say Daddy I trust you... I stretch the balloon and blew. The balloon begin to grow, I stretch it some more and it grew bigger. As I stood there blowing my fears away, I turn my head away from everyone else and continue to blow with all my might as the speaker continue to encourage us to keep blowing. Then I hear the Holy Spirit say if your trust Daddy and burst this balloon your fears will be blown away and your faith will be expanded. With one last breath and a made up mind to trust Daddy I blew with all my might. The balloon burst into pieces leaving me nothing but the part  of the balloon I put my mouth on.  As I saw the evidence of my faith expand, the sound of my fears being destroyed, and the victory in my mouth...( You will catch that later). I realized that I had taken the first step towards healing.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for teaching me how to blow my fear away with my faith. Daddy I understand that being in a place of trusting you in a world that is filled with all kinds of issues is hard, but the process of faith is in you. Daddy thank you for letting us  know that you will expand our faith if we just let go of our cautiousness and be reminded of your promises. In JESUS Name. AMEN!

Who Gets The Glory

I Cor 10: 31 31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.(NIV) During my daily devotion I got the opportunity to read this scripture and boy did it do a number on my heart and convict me. I realized that over my life there have been times that I have done things for my own accolades. Whether it was being a great counselor by going beyond the needs of my patience or doing something special to show my love towards a friend or love one. Whatever it was I looked for the praise beyond "thank you." Let me just confess I look for my personal glory. But when I ran across this scripture my spirit man told my flesh your desire to have accolades from man doesn't outweigh the glory of GOD for your life so stop forfeiting GOD's glory for your validation. That's heavy for me. Because though the accolades were great the glory of GOD is much greater. Also doing my devotion I ran across another scripture... Psalm 37:3-4  3-4Get insurance with God and do a good deed, settle down and stick to your last. Keep company with God, get in on the best (MSG) Now this scripture gave me instructions on how to change my mindset from gaining accolades to pursuing GOD's glory through my actions. The scripture clear states that doing good deeds isn't bad, but we must do it with the heart of GOD's insurance and must rest in that insurance while maintaining our relationship with GOD. Wow! Let me simplify that a little more. We must take time to do what is good, so that GOD can get the glory; however, in our doing we must rest in the insurance that GOD is taking care of our stuff while we are doing his work and he will reward us greatly for our obedience and selflessness.

Prayer: Daddy we come to you now laying doing our desire to receive accolades from man, and picking up your glory through our obedience . Daddy we rest in you, knowing that in our selflessness your righteousness will be shown that your glory will be revealed. Daddy we thank you for a change mindset when it comes to doing deeds for others we will rest in the insurance that you will handle everything on our behalf as we do the work and purpose you called us to. In Jesus Name... Amen!

Restore Me

Today as I was reading my daily devotion Psalm 51:1-2 stood out to me. I was so overwhelm by the prayer that David prayed in this Psalm about where he was with GOD. How he was able to identify not only what was wrong with him but what was right with GOD and what he needed to replace what he needed from GOD to replace what he was asking him to take out of him. 1 Have mercy on my me O GOD, according to your unfailing love, according to your great compassion, blot out my transgressions. 2Wash away all my iniquities, cleanse me from all my sins.  What an awesome and sincere prayer from the heart of a man who realize that he was in need of something more from GOD. Not only did David place himself on the alter of GOD's mercy, but he also recognized that in the cutting of all that hinders him from GOD he can take hold to his grace.

Prayer: Daddy we come to you asking for restoration. We know our lives are not always conductive to your will, word, and way for that Daddy we ask for you to wash us clean through the blood of JESUS. Help us to rest in your unfailing love and yield to your great compassion. In JESUS name. AMEN!

Thinking Decree

Today I speak change! I speak that the thoughts of doubt that cancel what you speak and spoke in faith will change into thoughts of GOD's promises to you. I decree and declare that your thoughts will line up with what you speak in faith. That whatever you think shall be what the Father has already spoken over you before you were even thought of. So today live today in GOD's thoughts and surrender your natural mind for the super natural things of GOD.

Morning Inspirations

About a couple of years ago when I first started this blog and when I was going through my divorce I started sending out morning inspirations to my friends and family to help them make it through the day and give them something to think about. Well today it was place on my heart by the Holy Spirit to start them again along with request from people who use to receive them. I think every time I have life change that I have to do something GOD ordain. So with that being said for the next 30 days or more I will be blogging morning inspirations or should I say inspirations that will help you like they help me. They will be motivated by the word, topic discussions, thoughts, and of course the guidance of the Holy Spirit. My goal in writing these inspirations is to do that inspire to you and cause you to think about the greatness of GOD and yield everything in to him. So get ready to think, be inspired, loved, restored, renewed, overjoyed by the presence, peace, provision, heart, and love of GOD!
