And It's A New Year!

 Great Day DDC Readers!!!

It's been a while I know and every year I say I am going to do better with my blogging and engagement. Life has been somewhat a roller coaster in 2021. A lot of loss and a lot of life-changes that equate to grief. First of all, let me first say HAPPY NEW YEAR! Second, please check out season 1 of my newest project with my sister Jesus +Therapy, Sis Podcast ok, now that the announcements are out the way let's get down to business.

The scripture that has been running through my head is something that I am sure most of you have heard and/or read "But don't dwell on the past; don't concentrate on what happened back then. Just look at something new I'm going to do now! In fact, it's started already. Can't you see it? Yes, I'm making a way through the wilderness, rivers in the desert"! FBV This bible verse speaks volumes on what our mindsets should be in 2022. For the last two years we have dealt with covid and can we be honest it ain't going nowhere (yeah I know what I said and how I said it; however, you know the disclaimer, this blog is imperfect in grammar and open in heart thoughts). We are so caught up in trying to navigate the disappearance of it, that we are missing the moments of GOD's newness in it. So, let's break this scripture down so it can be a guide on how we are to navigate through 2022.

1) We can't allow the past to be the guide or map of our current. The past will always come up and the memories of the past may seem more powerful than present moments, however, the present is the gift we have to focus on. Let me summarize, don't miss your growth because you think you have not learned from your past.

2) Focus on the new things that GOD is doing. Don't allow your old to outweigh the new.

3) Change your response and perception. Your ability to be open to a new vocabulary and to see things through GOD's eyes will create a better perspective of what life really looks like.

4) Be prepared to win! Winning comes with a process, don't allow the process to discourage you from reaching and enjoying the win.

5) Don't get comfortable. You should maintain a posture of discomfort at all times as you go through this year. If you feel yourself getting comfortable, do something uncomfortable so you will not stop growing in the things of GOD.

Prayer: Daddy thank you for this new year. Help us to be in a place of trusting you will all things and being ok with the new things you will do this year. Help us to see things from your perspective and not our own. In Jesus Name. AMEN!

Happy New Year...Apply the Lesson

DDC Readers!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I know it's been a while and due to Corona my therapist calendar has been booked and continues to fill, as people start to realize that their mental health is not as healthy as they thought it was. Now can we have a moment of silence for 2020... Moment over!!! LOL Listen, if 2020 didn't teach you anything it should have taught you the value of time and people. The whole world shut down as we tried to wrap our heads around this virus and the destruction it was causing on a global level. Also, we have to be aware of the time that was produced during these shutdowns. (I didn't have that time as I worked as an at home essential work....a.k.a. "Therapy Life"). You know the time I am talking about. The time that we talked about during those busy workdays, traffic jams, and errand runs. You know the time we talked about when we said, " I wish I had time to do__________ (you fill in the blank). Not only did we see time become more of something that we gain in 2020; we also saw the loss of valuable people in our lives. 2020, gave us the manifestation of death like never before. When I was watching the news, I heard a report refer to the death toll of 2020 as the biblical 12 plagues that the Egyptians faced while keeping the Israelites hostage. I can kinda agree. It did feel like the death of all deaths.

However, there was something that I heard in my spirit the whole time of 2020 as we endured so many losses and heartache. Are you ready for the revelation?  I heard the Holy Spirit ask me this one question... "Who ARE YOU"? I responded "A Daddy's Girl. A Daughter of the Most High...then he reminded me of John 15:19 CEV "If you belonged to the world, its people would love you. But you don’t belong to the world. I have chosen you to leave the world behind, and that is why its people hate you. " Despite all the losses we endured in 2020, those losses will never equate to the power we carry as children of Daddy. Even when it looks like we are losing we are winning. I need us to remember that as we go into 2021. Even when it looks like we are losing or things are not working out for our good due to the principles of the world, we can't get fixated on it. We must realize that what the world is experiencing doesn't apply to us. We are in this world, but not of this world. "Them principles don't apply to us"! (LOL)

Prayer:  Daddy, we thank you for the constant reminders that no matter what happens around us, or in this world, in the end, it doesn't apply to us. We thank you that because of your adoption we have the authority to tap into your power, favor, joy, peace, and grace. That even when the enemy thinks that we are losing, we still win, because everything works out for the good of those that trust you and follow you according to your word. In Jesus Name! AMEN

Emotional Seeds : The Corona Edition

This virus called Corona has truly turned our world upside down. It has no target audience, no cultural difference, no area of focus, and no economic status. When I tell you that we were and are in this together we are. We have seen many die, however, we have also seen many recoveries from this virus as well. We currently live in the unknown as many states slowly begin to open back up and try to create a sense of normalcy. We live now in a world where we have distanced ourselves to save lives, however, this same distance is causing others to die internal with the results of external symptoms. With all that being said I want to challenge us to do something that was placed on my heart to do during this time of famine and uncertainties.

During my meditation time this past week, I found myself asking the question I feel all believers have been asking... GOD, how do we end this? What do we need to do to get back to a place of normalcy? I am sure like me and others you have struggled with the inability to gather at your local church and fellowship with fellow believers, or perhaps during this time you desire to have that fellowship because you want a better relationship with GOD. There are so many things that we need answers to and have questions about. Let's go back to what I was talking about... During my meditation time with GOD, He told me that so many people are sowing financial seeds (which is a good thing if you have it to sow. I truly encourage you to sow in this area, especially during a time of famine), however, one seed that we have yet to really address that is need during this time of famine... (Let me pause and tell you why it's a time of famine. It is a time of famine because we are lacking the natural resources and flow of those resources to meet the needs of the people... hence why states are trying to open up that the flow of some economic wealth can come into the state and country. This is the reason I am saying this is a time of famine. Things that were once easy to obtain. (tissue, paper towels, Clorox, Lysol, etc. are no longer easy to obtain) ) Ok, no more interruptions back to the reason behind this blog. (this is why I have to start blogging more...lol) GOD told me that in this season we have to sow emotional seeds. Now I know you are wonder....What are emotional seeds? Emotional seeds are: love, joy, and peace... A.K.A. some of the fruits of the spirit. These seeds are seeds that will not only produce great fruit in the lives of others but also produce great fruit in your life. The fruit of favor, blessings, wisdom, peace, and love. See during a time of famine, no one is looking for a harvest. They are looking for produce. They want the end results, not the seeds.  So, this means that no one will mess with the soil of your seeds. No one will uproot it or cause it to die before it produces your fruit. In summary... "This is the best time to plant seeds, no one will be able to taint it."

My challenge to you today as we continue to find a new norm during and after this virus is to plant some emotional seeds. The need for their fruit will be in demand and is in demand as you read this. People need the connection of the human touch. However, due to the season that we are in, that same touch that use to heal now kills. Now we have to find a way to produce the same results in a new way and that's through sowing emotional seeds. Now I forgot to tell you how you sow these seeds. You sow them through text messages of encouragement, zoom video calls of listening, phone calls of support and love, letters of hope, and laughter of memories. Listening we have enough bad news to deal with, it's time that we pursue the heart of Daddy's joy in this season.

Prayer: Daddy, thank you for the opportunity to sow emotional seeds into people that I am connected to and even strangers. I understand that we are living in a time of famine and uncertainty and the best thing I can do is make myself available to you. Daddy, help me be the best seed sower during this time of famine. Let me be bold enough to love hard, become grateful in all things, and check on those I think are strong. Daddy, help me be open to accept emotional seeds as I sow them. Help me to maintain balance and never pour out on empty. In Jesus Name AMEN!

I really hope this blog blesses you during these uncertain times. Please know that your physical and your mental health is truly important. If you feel like you need help in the areas of your mental health. Please text the word Villiage to 205-660-0376, to be connected to a mental health expert. This is the perfect time to get everything you put off in order. #noexcuses #mentalhealthawarenessmonth

New Starts Here

Hey Readers!! I know... I know... It's been a minute! I know I promised to do better, but life!!! I know.. No excuses and honestly there aren't any. But, guess what?!? 2020 will soon be here and I will try this again. However, I am not waiting until 2020 to get here to start my new start. My new starts here today!!! Yes, today! Let me catch you all up on the great things that I have already started that will be incorporated into my 2020. I have started #squadgoals which is a group of women that I not only send encouraging messages to but also keep me accountable and consistent. Then, there is #dearfuturehusband365 with a brand new look and content. Last but not least DDC (Daddy Daughter Conversations). I figured out a way to share new content and be consistent. I am excited and it starts tomorrow. So get ready for great messages and an awesome year!

Prayer:  Daddy, as we continue to finish the things of this year, help us prepare for our next. Let us not get content in waiting on a new year to arrive before we put new year things into action. Let us put into action our new year things now. Remind us that our new starts here. Herewith, an open mind, heart, and faith to trust you more by losing control more often. In Jesus Name. Amen!

Merry New Year

It's 2019 and I don't know about you, but I am so excited about everything Daddy has planned for me to accomplish this year. I was really feeling lost, unprepared, and unplanned about this year.  But, during vision casting today I realize I just need to have a board meeting with Daddy A meeting to ask  Him what is it that He is requiring of me, and what I need to do in order to get those things accomplished. The answer He gave was so profound. I will share it with you.

Know this is the year of activation and cultivation. This means that you can't hide behind the scenes anymore. I am going to pull on your gifts... Yes, gifts... You have become comfortable with one gift, and I have many more in store for you. Don't allow constructive criticism to be seen as a personal failure. Know that it is pruning and refining you for your next. It may not feel good and yes it's uncomfortable, but it's necessary for this season. Here is what I need from you:

- Eradicate, the root of generational curses that have caused you to fall. Seek me for the strategy to do this.

- Place, yourself in a position where you can be used for my will, not yours. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

- Openness. Be open to hearing me, feel me, and know me at another level and realize that I am about to do something new, and you are worthy of what I have for you.

-Opportunity. Position yourself in a place to be poured into and cultivated. Be ok when people pull on your gift. Don't be a shame of the opportunity I present to you.

-Obedience is better than sacrifice. You can't sacrifice who I called you to be in order to fit in. This is the season that you need to learn how to be ok with sticking out. Be obedient to the crazy instructions I give. The ones that don't even make sense.

-Press, beyond your emotions, feelings, disappointments, discouragements, and discomfort. I am a prize worth fighting for.

-Pursue, me like you never have before. Know that I seek for you to be lost in me until there is no more you, only me.

If you do these things daughter I will show you my favor, you will experience a new level of joy, peace, grace, love, and your self-control will go to another level.

These instructions aren't easy nor are they hard. They are a challenge to trust Daddy in His word, actions, and your relationship with Him. Question: How much do you trust Him?

If you aren't new to this blog,  then you know that I have an issue with trusting Daddy with my all, but in 2019 my prayer has been... Daddy, I trust you with me and all of me !!!  I won't worry. I won't doubt. I won't look back.

Prayer: Daddy this year we seek to be what you called us to be, and not what we are comfortable being. We seek to walk in your will, word, and way, trusting you all the way. We seek to fall in love with you and we know that it's you we pursue. Thank you, Daddy, for this new year, and please forgive us for not being comfortable with being uncomfortable, as you take us to a new level. In Jesus Name! AMEN!!

I Expect The New Now

DDC Readers,

We are weeks away from 2019 and I am still trying to get into 2018. I know that's bad, but I still feel like Daddy has something that He needs to do in 2018. With everything going on in the world, I really feel like He is waiting for someone to expect something from Him without waiting for the new year to arrive. I am that someone. In a message that I ministered at my church, I told the people that we get so caught up in waiting for the words "Happy New Year", that we missed the newness that Daddy is doing in our present. I love how he put it in Isaiah 43:18-19 (I am paraphrasing) He says. "forget all that I have done because I am doing a new thing"... Then He asked the question, "Don't you see it"? So let me go back, to give you the background of what is going on before we get to verses 18 and 19. So, in verses, 1-17 Daddy is telling the children or Israel what He has done for them, what they have done to Him, and the consequences of their actions. In other words, He is listing the history of their relationship with each other. By verse 18, He tells them to not dwell on the past because, in verse 19,  He is about to show them something new. From verse 19 until the end of the chapter He speaks of the new things that He is going to do and how they should be in a place of expecting, preparing, and experiencing the new now.

That's where I am when I say I am trying to get into 2018. I want to leave the first part of 2018 behind and enjoy the new that Daddy is doing now. I want to be in a place where I am not stuck on what He did that I miss what He is doing. But, can I be honest that's where a lot of us are. We love the fact that we have a track record with Daddy, but we forget that He is just like the energizer bunny... "He keeps going and going".  I know you are wondering... What's the moral of this blog? Well, good Question... The Moral of this blog is this: Dwelling on what He did will place us in three positions: 1) The looking back position. Looking back causes paralyzation. Genesis 19:26 we see that Lot's wife turn into a pillar of salt when she looked back. Which resulted in her being paralyzed in that position for life. 2) The Reminder position. This position tells us to remember what GOD has done but never expecting Him to do anything else. That's why in Isiaih 43:19 He says, "Do you not see it"? which brings me to the last position 3) The blind position. There are times where we can be so blinded by the new that we can't see the now. When it comes to this position I am reminded of Sarah and Abraham.  How when Sarah got the word that they would be pregnant and it did not happen when she wanted it too, she took matters into her own hands and created something new.  But, she missed the opportunity to trust Daddy and  His timing. Had Sarah not been so blinded by timing then she would have enjoyed the process of the new.

Prayer:  Daddy, thank you that you allow us the opportunity to enjoy the new things that you are doing in our lives. We pray that you will help us to never look back on your past track record with us that we aren't able to move forward in what you doing through, too, and for us. We pray that you will help us to remember that you do something new daily and we can't get stuck on yesterday's new in our now. We pray that you will help us to wait and enjoy the process of the now, that we don't become blinded by the new things we are expected from you later. In JESUS Name...AMEN!!

P.S.  I flunked #bloglikecrazy2018. Between motivation and schedule, it was not going to work. But guess what? It taught me that I need to pass myself and maybe even start my blogs in October and have them ready in November... I don't know but it was fun while it lasted. Maybe next year!

I Just Want To Be Obedient

Today start a new journey! Today, I join with bloggers across the world in a challenge that can seem intimidating, dishearting, and frustrating. Today, I start my day 1 of #bloglikecrazy.

What is #bloglikecrazy? #bloglikecrazy is a 30-day challenge of blogging your heart out. It was created by writer, CEO, and blogger Javacia Harris Bowser the founder "See Jane Write". (Check out her page on seejanewritebrham.com.) So, for the next 30days, I will be posting blogs on here for the first two weeks and the last 2 weeks I will post on my other blog page... DearFutureHusband365 blog (which you can follow and subscribe to by going to: dearfuturehusbad365.wordpress.com)

Enough with the chit-chat, let's get down to business, shall we!!

I thought it was only bidding that I start my first day of #bloglikecrazy with the topic of obedience because this is what this challenge is truly going to pull out of me. When I thought about this topic I thought about how many times I was delayed in my obedience. How many times Daddy gave me the opportunity to be obedient and I found myself more in tune with questioning the assignment than doing what I was supposed to do.  I am sure I am not alone in this action. Questioning something that we know Daddy told us to do.  In doing this routine of questioning I found myself singing this song (yes I made it up) "I just want to be obedient.  Be obedient.  Obedient. Daddy, I just want to be obedient without the questions".  Now this song is not a one-hit wonder, it is a tune that I sing daily because Daddy is requiring something new for me to do daily. Something out the box. Something out of my comfort zone and knowledge. Something that requires me to sacrifice sleep or submit myself to someone. So, the struggle of obedience is real to me.  But, in the midst of the struggle, I am reminded of the scripture found in 1 Samuel 15:22 part b of that verse that says, "Obedience is better than sacrifice". (NLT)

I am sure some of looked at that scripture and wondered what are we truly sacrificing? Especially, when what Daddy is calling us to do is something so simple as praying for someone at 5 am in the morning and we just went to sleep at 2am. Surely, Daddy would understand that you need your sleep to function... RIGHT?!? That if you still pray once you were at least coherent,  that it would be better than struggling with your sleep. But can I tell you that Daddy would not understand! Because as HIS children we are to submit to HIM daily and, that submission requires consistent and total obedience.
That we may not be sacrificing anything personally, but we may be sacrificing saving someone's life. Now, I know you are thinking it's not that deep. But, can I tell you that it is!! I have had to wake up out my good sleep because, my dreams where consist of me dreaming of a person that Daddy told me to pray for. I love the fact that Daddy gives us a chance to correct our disobedience so we can be in a place of obedience, even if mean disrupting something we enjoy.

Today, I want to challenge us to never be in a place of delaying in our obedience. That when Daddy tells us to do something, we will do it without hesitation. That we will be open to the process and instructions that HE is requiring of us. That we will not question the task, but with boldness, bravery, and humility complete it in the spirit of excellence.

Prayer: Daddy, we come now repenting for being disobedient. Whether if it was in our delayed obedience, or not completing the task at all. We ask that you forgive us for our obedience. Today, we take a stand saying we will do, go, say, and obey. We realize that though we may not be sacrificing something, something is being sacrificed when we don't obey. So, we ask for Your grace and mercy and we thank you for giving us a chance to get it right. In Jesus Name...AMEN!!

Mask OFF

#HappyLOVEDay!!! I am so excited about today even in my singlehood, because to day is a day of conquering for me. Today I shared with a group of sorority sisters... Something I don't talk about a lot and haven't shared with a lot of people. Today I told them that Valentine's Day a.k.a Love Day is a trigger for me. About the age of I will say 22 I was madly in love and thought everything was about to fall in place in life. I was graduating and engaged.. But on V-Day that engagment ended and my heart was crush. I got over it and then 2010 on this same day my ex husband took my hand and declared his love for me at the altar. Romantic right?? But you did see ex in front of husband...lol After our divorce V-Day was never the same for me for 5 years on this day I would contemplate suicide, feelings of worthlessness would overtake me, and I would find myself in this deep depression. I would be smiling on the outside but tore up on the inside. I shared this with my sorority sisters and some where shock... The room got silent and heavy.. (I don't like those moments) but it was then that I realize how free and delievered I was from this pain of 5 years. I was able to share it with truth. Why am I sharing this with you? Because the the standards of society can overtake the standards of GOD if we allow it. I had allowed this to happen to me and I had to let GOD love me back to his standards of love. I felt lost and confused trying to fit in, when I was already in, but the enemy had me feeling I wasn't. I want you to know whether you have someone or not. The standard of the world's idealogy of love will never outlast the standards of GOD's love. Don't allow your singleness overtake you that you miss the moments of GOD's love, and don't allow your security in having a spouse make you forget your first love. Also I want you to know that if it hadn't been for yall loving me in those 5 years I would not be able to share this. Your love unknowingly saved me. So on today make sure you love on purpose. Spread the love. I know we should do this everyday, but take advantage of this day. Where the world is open to love and the idea of love and let someone know this doesn't have to be a one day out of the year moment, but a everyday moment. Love you  and thank you for loving me with purpose and tension.

In This Seasson

Hello Readers!!!
So if you all don't know the I have been working on her thesis and feeling like I am getting no where! But I read the Arise5 (the prophetic journal based on the Hebrew calendar.. check it out at: www.arise5.com)  and I am getting my strength back. But I want to encourage you like I was encourage. We are in the month of Tammuz which is one that is filled with great things and I am so excited to see them manifest. There where six things that really stuck out that we must be aware of and make part of our lives. 1. This is the season where GOD is going to show you areas in your life that you need to adjust in order to remain in his will and stay on the path that he has called you to. 2. Light. This is the season where your light will need to shine bright and this will happen by accepting and taking on the glory of GOD. This is done by being in his presence through prayer and worship. Ask GOD to take your worship to another level that His glory will be just as real to other as it is to you. 3. Delay (this one is for me) This is the month to celebrate the delays in your life, and know that they are the confirmations of GOD's preparation for your victory and promotion. 4. Choice. In this seasoning choosing to accept the positive in negative situations is crucial. You must speak the word in faith this season when it comes to negativity. Celebrate the positive in your life. I hope she doesn't mind but I love the fact that friend  was able to celebrate the healing of her son's heart but not only that, when he had to be place back on oxygen for a while she stayed positive by say "it's just for a moment". That's how we must response to negativity "IT'S JUST FOR A MOMENT," and if we declare the word of the LORD it will be just for a second. 5. Vulnerable... OOOOOOO I know some of us have a hard time with this word but this is necessary in this season. We can't be super heroes in handling those moments that seem overwhelming in our own strength, it's time that you tap into ... Say it with me Circle of Influence which brings me to my last point....6. Relationships. It's time to look at your circle to make sure it's still healthy, productive, functioning, and balance. I know it's heart and hard to prune and add to our circle but in this season it is necessary. Make sure your circle doesn't get stale and that you are open to new relationships.
Prayer: Daddy we thank you that we are in a season where life, light, delay, choices, vulnerability, and relationships are key essentials to how we function in this season. WE thank you that we have life in you, and you give us life more abundantly as we stay on the path that you called us to. Help us with every assignment that we encounter daily, that you may get the glory in our actions. Helps us seek your face always that your presence will become and remain real to us and your glory may be the light that the world sees in us. Daddy help us accept, rejoice, and understand your delay is not a denial only a setup for your blessings. Help us Daddy to make the right choice in this season. That we speak your word during negative situations and stand on the promise of your positive outcome. Daddy help us become vulnerable in our times of needs that we seek out help when we need it the most as well as accept the help of others. Help us Daddy to not only be givers but receivers. Some of us are quick to give and slow to receive, help us find balance in both areas. Last Daddy gives us the strength and the heart to let go of the relationships that don't grow us, that paralyze us in hurt, disappointment, unforgiveness, and discouragement. Help us make room for new relationships and give us the wisdom in who to let in and out of our lives. Help us not to see the pruning process as a place of pain , but one of growth and healing. In Jesus Name. Amen!

New Beginning

Happy New Year Fellow Followers!!! I can't believe it will be 4 years this year since I started this blog. It started out as a process to enhance my counseling skills and ended up being the healing process to my heart. Daddy is so awesome!!! He will take your will and plan and some how in the process convert it to bring him glory!!

Well it's that time of the year again. The time we talk about the new beginnings of a new year. The time were we sit and think about what we want to accomplish, speak into the atmosphere, and just really press towards. I am super excited about 2016! I mean it's the year of the expectation of Daddy. I am really ready to see the promises of what Daddy's YES and AMEN looks like aren't you? Well with all this expectation and excitement can I talk to you about new beginnings and how to really look at 2016?

As children of Daddy we forget three things when it comes to our new beginnings in a new year. These things are: Last year's lessons, Daddy will for us, and faith. Yep, these three things are things we forget to continue to incorporate in our new beginnings. Let's talk about he first one "Last year's lessons." I don't know about you but last year was the greatest lesson plan that I think Daddy could prepare for me. I lost my mother's side of the family with disconnect due to the death of my grandmother, had to move out of the house I lived in for 15 years into an apartment with my mother, lost my daddy's mother whom I was close with but never got the full closure I needed from her death, because my cousin got into an major accident on the way to funeral and I saw it all; and last I was in a major car accident in another state that left me with a totaled car. What lessons!?! Well let me tell you what I got from all of that which were great lessons for me to apply to 2016. Lesson 1. Never ever allow what you feel to predict your assignment. You are not your own, you are just a steward of the body you were given. This life you live is not about you and your glory, but about you completing the assignments that Daddy has give you the honor to carry out. Never allow how you feel to dictate how you respond to life and its situations no matter how much you feel it will bring productivity to the situation. Lesson 2. Have faith and stay faithful. Hum, I think I am about to cry about this lesson. Because it's hard to have faith when your integrity is being drugged through the mud by family, you have so many life changes going on that you don't know if you are coming or going, and you feel like you about to lose it, but you never do. But can I tell you if Daddy is faithful you can be faithful too. Because his track record in your life is greater than the moment of foolish and temporariness that is cause by others or yourself. Lesson 3. Always rest. I know this can be hard when you are looking for answers, solutions, and resolutions to life, but if you rest in the peace, love, and joy of GOD he will become your strength and the rest you thought you would never experience will be one that you desire more and more every day. Lesson 4. Change your vision. How you see things are not how things are actually seen. (that's deep I know). What you see in your face doesn't hold value to what Daddy is doing behind the scene. I am always reminded of the story where the prophet Elisha prayed that his servant's eyes be open during a time of war. And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (2Kings 6:17) It wasn't until he prayed for the spiritual vision of his servant that he could see the true vision of victory. Always know that fight is rigged you win every time all you have to do is show up. Here is the final lesson. Lesson 5. Stand on the word of GOD. His words will not return to him without purpose. "so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11)
So now you have the lessons you need to enjoy your new beginning apply them to your 2016 and watch Daddy do what he does best...manifest greatness!

Prayer: Daddy as we go into our new beginning help us to never forsake the lessons of our last year or the years before, let us always have the mentality of a student that seeks to learn more  and the characteristics of a child humble, but assured that there is nothing to big or hard for our daddy to do. Let us always remain in the place of faith, hope, and love, realizing that nothing is ever in our control only yours. Let us always speak life where death tries to rest, remaining assured that your word will not return to you void. But Daddy most importantly let us never take your grace and mercy for granted. Let us always be in the position were we realize tomorrow is never promise to us ; therefore, we will rest in today and allow you to take care of tomorrow as we complete what you have called us to and become great stewards of the the life you allow us to live, no matter what our expectations for it is.  In Jesus Name AMEN!

The Evidence

About a week ago I had the opportunity to be in the mist of healing session. Two friends who had been praying for healing in two different ways but the same area. One was in need of a breakthrough when it came to conceiving the other healing from an operation. Both needed something new to happen with their husbands and marriage and even their attitude about their marriage. Have you been there? Seeking GOD for a change but not changing your attitude about what you seeking change in or for? I have... My Prayers would be like...Daddy please change my heart about this.... or Daddy please allow me to have a better attitude about this.... But no where in waiting on Daddy to do his thing that I did mine. No where did I speak positive about the situation or even allow there to be a place of praise and thanksgiving about the expected outcome. SIDEBAR: The evidence of what you asking Daddy to manifest is in your pre response not your post. Stop waiting to see the signs and wonders of Daddy working on your behalf and start thanking him that he has worked on your behalf and the signs and wonders will only add to your testimony. Ok... Sorry back to the post. So while out of town we had the opportunity to have a conversation with a great man of GOD who gave us words for all our situations. But it was not only the conviction that brought breaking, but the evidence. The evidence of the breathe or wind of GOD. What is the breathe or wind of  GOD? The Holy Spirit, the one that JESUS called the comforter. John 14:16-18 says: 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (KJV)

The evidence of Daddy's love after giving his son to be sacrificed can be found in the post resurrection event of JESUS talking to his disciples. He not only calls the Holy Spirit the comforter, but, is truth, a gift that the world would not be able to receive, and he would dwell with you always. Then in the end of it, JESUS leaves us with the evidence that he will never leave us (you) comfortless. What does this have to do with anything you ask? The evidence of the Holy Spirit allow us to have the evidence of peace and comfort, because he is our truth he allows what we see to be blocked and reveals what Daddy sees for us.  The evidence of the comforter even goes farther when we look at Acts 1 & 2 and see the story of the day of Pentecost and how people were filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized in the spirit, and the spirit was poured out. The evidence!  This same evidence is what my friends in their situations experience. The out pour of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of great comfort. I think this is what Daddy want for us, but because of unsure faith of the manifestation of the  results we seek or the results we can't control; we miss the evidence of the Holy Spirit. But we must remember that in the out pouring the evidence of the Holy Spirit yield supernatural result that cause life changing actions.
Prayer: Daddy so many times we find ourselves asking for things that we must first prepare ourselves for. That we must lean not on our own understanding and vision, but the vision and understanding of you. We seek your supernatural without tapping into what you have place in us, The Comforter... The Holy Spirit. Daddy as we yield our issues, situations, and circumstances to you, we not only take upon an attitude of victory, but an attitude of tapping into the evidence of the comforter. That the Holy Spirit shall pour out a breathe of comfort and truth, guiding us to a place of purpose in you. Daddy thank you for the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit thank you for interceding on our behalf, for setting the atmosphere for supernatural results from Daddy, for being the comforter we need in hard, unrealistic, faithless, and hopeless times in our lives. We thank you JESUS for your sacrifices for your promise to never leave us comfortless. In JESUS name...AMEN!

The Gift

John 3:16: "For GOD so love the world that he gave, his only son that whoever believes in him shall have every lasting life."
The gift of love is so great and unconditional. As I think about the gift of love that Daddy has shown me I get overwhelm with joy and gratitude. I was listening to a great sermon when I had the minister say "Love never counts its giving." What a power statement. To know that Daddy give up his only son to gain access to millions of sons and daughters that didn't even understand the giving at the time. What a gift!!! To know that Daddy continues to give you love despite...whatever sin you commit. What a great gift!! That when you rise every morning you possess the word of breath in you. In Genesis it states that "He breathed life into the nostrils of man." What a gift!!! To know that every time you breath in and out that your are breathing the beginning and end of what Daddy breathed into Adam when he created him. What a great gift!!! What an awesome gift!!! Know that you possess a gift that Jesus went to hell for just so that you can have an eternal life. A gift that give you access to an eternal heritage of provision, protection, and promise. A gift that took only one person's sacrifice so you wouldn't have to die in your sin and give you access to the father. A gift that can't be place on a value scale. One that overrides what others say about you. One that opens the doors to Daddy's presence and gives you a personal intercessor. WHAT A GIFT!!!  So today as you deal with situations, issues, and circumstances, remember the gift that was given to you. And if you are reading this and you have not accepted the gift can I extend the gift to you. If you want the gift and all that it can give you just pray this prayer with a heart of acceptance and faith: Daddy I am sorry that I have allow my own will to outweigh the gift your son's life. Forgive me! Forgive me for the things that have hindered me from see the value of this gift and the worth of it on my life. Right I believe that you JESUS are that gift and I receive you with an open heart and a submitting will. I believe JESUS that you died for me, fought for me, and  rose with all power in your that I may have eternal life and access to the father. I give you me in exchange for you. In JESUS Name. AMEN!!!

Prayer: Daddy I thank you for those that read this message about the gift and give their lives to you and received the most valuable gift that they could except... JESUS. Daddy I thank you for the gift. The gift of something that no man could create only you can give. I thank for the gift. The gift to be your daughter, to be your servant, to be who you called and purpose me to be; with faith and boldness, lacking nothing, with holding nothing. Daddy we thank you for the newness of your grace, the forgiveness of your mercy, and the peace of your joy. Thank you for being our Daddy. In JESUS Name... AMEN

The Vision

I am sure you have heard of the famous vision scripture found in Habakkuk 2:2-3: “Write the vision, make it plan that he who reads it can run with it. But the part B is what really gets me... For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end – it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. It will not delay... What a vision! Not only does GOD tell us to write the vision, but he lets us know that it will not come to pass as soon as we right it, that it will have an appointed time for it's manifestation. When it comes to vision there are three ways that we can categorized the sight of. These three vision categories are:

Clear Vision: the ability to notice and acknowledge the facts but activate the faith. Having the boldness to write the vision down and await its appointed time and to be patient enough to wait for its manifestation with confidence
  • When you have clear vision you understand that failures are the cosigners to success.

Blurry Vision: knowing and focusing on the facts with the knowledge of what faith can do. Having the courage to write the vision, but doubting in your waiting. Praying for the promise that has already been cosigned by GOD with YES and Amen!
  • Placing your value more on your failures over your accomplishments. Allowing yourself to bounded with doubt, confusion, frustration., and stuck in a cycle of insecurity.
  • Here you must seek the prayer of Proverbs 3:5: ”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; and in all your ways submit him and he will make your path straight.”

Blindness: faithfully doubting in the vision of your heart and paralyzed in fear that you can't even write down the vision.
  • Can’t see pass the pain of your past, because the pain is still in your present. You are bound by lack, ignorance, and stubbornness.
  • In his vision category you must pray Isaiah 43:18-19: “ Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”

Now that you know where your vision could be and were it should be, evaluate your vision. Are you possessing a clear vision or one that has you totally blind. Whatever your vision know that Daddy can take you where you need to be only if your wait, hold fast, and trust in his YES and AMEN.

Prayer: Daddy vision is what you had when you form this place we call earth. You saw darkness and created light. You saw void and created substance. You saw loneliness and created partnership. Daddy as we write our visions, give us clarity on the process we should take. Allow us to be connected with our runners, helping us to wait on timing that is perfect for its manifestation. Daddy allow our vision to be that of clear and not blindness. Help us to disconnect ourselves for people, places, and things that keep us in the place of blindness. Daddy we know that in the end you will get the glory and because of that we stay encouraged, hopeful, and remain excited at the greatness of what you bring forth through our obedience. In Jesus Name! AMEN

All I need

Today as I vacation with a friend we had the honor to experience some new things.  We went to a  restaurant and meet of family of women.  A sister and her sister-in-law and their daughters.  As we waited the sister-in-law share with us how her husband was in the military and she was not from Tennessee but New Jersey, and her husband was serving in overseas.  But what caught my attention is when she shared how she adjusted to coming from the north to the south.  She said that she submerge herself in the cultural of the south. I thought to myself that's a great way to adjust. On top of that she shared her necklace.... it said "sweet tea and Jesus..." I was like that is so southern,  but so true. There are times in our lives where we must submerge ourselves in God that the fear in being in a new place,  position,  or even walking in our calling being at peace that allows you do everything at ease.

Prayer: Daddy help us to know that you all we need. We submerge ourselves in your presence and yield to the peace of your  grace. Daddy all of you and none of us.  In Jesus name.  Amen

Yes Power

So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.-James 4:7-10 Msg

It's amazing how easy a yes can be when it comes to achieving the things that we desire for ourselves. Think about it. We say Yes to those extra hours at work to get the money we need to get things done. We say yes to the sinful things that bring us, what we think is peace or joy. We are so quick to say yes to our flesh and so slow to say no..... Let's not talk about when Daddy ask us to do something that is uncomfortable our out of the norm. We are quick to analyze, rationalize, and look for scriptures to back up what the Holy Spirit instructed us to do. Especial when another person is involved. In James 4 we see what the power of YES can do. In the mist of trying to get ourselves in shape through repentance and having our intimate conversations with Daddy, Daddy is preparing greater for us. Our yes to him says we surrender all and we cancel our will to take his. Though James seems to be harsh in his presentation, the reality is in order for us to get back to our place in GOD we must get to a place of desperately saying YES!

Prayer: Daddy we know that the only way to you is through the son and the only way to the son is in our surrendering. We surrender all to you. We lay down our will to take up the cross. We submit ourselves under your authority, trusting you in all that we do. Holy Spirit we ask that you guide and direct us under the light of the father. We ask that you open our ears you to Daddy and keep our sight in focus of you. We know that without you Daddy we are the bottom, and we can't get to the top until we get serious in our surrendering. We love you Daddy and today we sing.. I surrender all... I surrender all.. All to thee my blessth savior... I surrender all. In JESUS Name! Amen

The Love Beyond

Luke 6:28 Bless those who curse you  pray for those who mistreat You.

Its hard to be nice to people who openly mistreat you. Especially when you  don't know what was done to cause them to go from friend to foe. But even if or when the transition happen, be assure that your responds to them is love and prayer. Your response to them is what counts and sets the tone for the love beyond. Your ability to turn the other cheek allows them to see that your trust and faith is not in their relationship with you, but the assignment to be what called you to be. The day you learn how to love beyond your emotional response to other is the day you see with the manifestation of GOD's favor and presence overtake you. Speak life over those that speak death over you.

Prayer: Daddy it's so hard to to respond to negative people with a positive respond, especially those who we have inmate relationships with. It's hard to turn the other cheek, to move beyond our emotions, to not get caught up in being angry or holding grudges. Daddy we need your help. Help us to love beyond. Love beyond the moment of anger, the moment of frustration, the argument, the disappointment, and the heartache. Help us to be in a place where you can use us to love beyond. To love beyond our expectations for that person or people, to go beyond our own sight and to look at them through your eyes. Daddy cover us with your love that we can love them beyond us. In Jesus Name! AMEN

New Series

So as a founding act of this new season in my life I have to bring back so message that I use to send via text message. In these message we will explore a scripture and encouraging message along with a prayer to meditate on through the day. So let's get started with today's message:

Hebrew 11:8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

When GOD says go, go. Stop worrying about direction and get focus on instructions. When you realize who is guiding you will never have to meditate on where you going.

Prayer: Daddy, forgive us for wanting to analyze your  instructions and not obey your directions. For allowing our mind to be the leader of what our heart is assured in. Help us to hear and do what you say. Not hear and talk about it looking for a greater clarity, or even waiting for the manifest of it to make sense to us. Daddy give us that "Just Do IT" spirit. Daddy, remind us that faith is verb and not a noun. That it requires action not conversation. In Jesus Name, AMEN
