Ain't No Need To Worry


Why do we allow worry to be the ruler of our life? What about worry says that our Daddy can't do it? If you look at Matthew 25-33 Jesus, is speaking telling the people that worry produces nothing productive. That in our worry we devalue ourselves and forget the authority, benefits, and privileges we have as Daddy's children. But In Matthew 6:33-34 he tells us how to battle worry and what our focus should be on. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (NIV). But even in his instructions we find ourselves still in the worry state. We feel as though if we don't do, it won't get done. If we don't worry that means that we don't care. Well can I tell you that this kind of mindset still doesn't work. No matter how we justify worry, worry should not be in our vocabulary. It should be the least of our thoughts. In Philippians 4:6-9 Paul reminds us what to do with our worry.. well in this case our anxiety (Sidebar: do you know that your continuous worrying can turn into anxiety, causing fear to build up in your heart, hindering the move of GOD and opening the door for the enemy?)>>>(Continue) Paul says:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.  
Paul clearly gives step-by-step detail directions on how to battle worry. 
Step1: Don't be Anxious. This simply means remind yourself who you are and who's you are. (In other words breath). 
Step2: Call it a situation and not a permanent position. So many times we allow our worry and/or anxiety to become who we are and the reflection on how we live and respond to life, But we can't do that as children of Daddy. 
 Step3: Talk to Daddy about the worry and anxiety. 
Step4: Tell Daddy thank you even though you don't see it working yet.
Step 5 Put on your garment of praise.  
Step6: Let Daddy handle it in his time and in his way.
Step7: Stay still and allow Jehovah Shalom to take his place in the situation.
Step8: Stop thinking, Your way of thinking doesn't match Daddy's way of thinking stop trying to comprehend how, where, when, and what is going to be done with your worry and anxiety.
Step9: Change your mindset. When you find yourself in a worry state or having anxiety start meditating on the goodness of our Daddy. Remind yourself that even in this uncontrollable situation  Daddy still gets the praise.
Step10: Start seeking the kingdom of GOD and all his righteousness (Matthew 6:33)
Step11: Put the word into practice that it may take action
Step12: Accept the peace of GOD and stay in his presence

Prayer: Daddy we come to you now laying worry and anxiety at your feet. We know that there are things that we have on our mind so heavy that they even wake us up out our sleep or cause us to be sleepless. We toss and turn trying to figure out a solution on  what to do even  though it's not our problem in the first place. But today day we stop worrying about us and start focusing on you. Yielding our thoughts and even the day to you that you may get the glory. Daddy we seek your kingdom agenda and we ask you to give us instructions on how to accomplish what we are called to do on today and every day, day by day. In Jesus Name. AMEN!
